Genevieve Mento

Bette passed away quietly on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

Born October 6, 1935, in Buffalo, New York. She was the daughter of
Carl and Genevieve Mey (nee Coons).  She and sister Pat lost
their father Carl at a young age and they were lovingly raised by
their mother.

Bette met Frank while he was stationed at FORT
Niagara, and they married on a snowy Saturday in January. She
was a Devoted Wife of Frank for 62 years until his passing in
2017.

They had three children, Craig wife Nancy, Sandra, and Jim
(passed 2022) wife Cathy; 5 grandchildren Craig (Jennifer),
Kimberly, Bradley, Christopher, and Tommy; three great
grandchildren, Sydney, Craiger, and Josselyn; her sister Pat and
brother-in-law Jim Murphy as well as their children Kim Synder
(Jim) and Shawn French (Mac).

A celebration of Bette’s Life will be privately held and in lieu of flowers or donations please ‘pay it
forward’ with love and kindness…and don’t forget to smile in
Bette/Mom/Aunt Bette/Nana’s memory.
