Vaupel, George, age 93 passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2007. Formally of Neptune, New Jersey George was married to the late Alice G. Vaupel. He will be sadly missed by his son Michael Missy Vaupel of Pembroke Pines and his daughter Patricia Charles Jordan of Albuquerque, New Mexico and 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. An avid golfer, George retired from New Jersey Telephone after 46 years of service. A World War II veteran, George served in the US Army Signal Corps in Europe. George will also be missed by his caregivers Ruth Coleman, Barbara McIntosh and Florette Pownat. Friends may visit from 8:30 – 9:30 AM Friday at Boyd’s University Drive Chapel with a Funeral Mass at Saint David Catholic Church at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
