George Robert Lange, of Pembroke Pines, Florida, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at the age of 76. George was born on March 13th, 1947 to Duane and George Anne Lange in Hammond, Indiana and grew up in Olympia Fields, Illinois. After graduating from Rich Township High School in 1965, he enlisted in the United States Navy where he spent the next 6 years abroad. George had a 42- year career at Perko Marine Inc., which he was so committed to. He had an outstanding work ethic and love for the marine industry.

George was a loving and devoted husband, dad, and grandpa. He is survived by his beloved wife and soulmate, Maria Lange; his children, Jason Lange, Robert Lange, Grace Aguerri, and Omaida Valentin; his grandchildren Cassandra Davis, William Davis, Adriana Aguerri, Samuel Lange, and Ethan Lange; and many, many dear friends.

George will be remembered as a man with a heart of pure gold and the most joyful smile that could light up any room. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either The Humane Society of the United States or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. George would have truly loved that, as he always had a gentle and loving manner with all children and pets.
