Georgine A. Ziegler lived an incredible 93 years. She lived life to its fullest as a bathing suit & tv commercial model in the 1950s, a secretary who excelled in shorthand note taking, a Navy Wave Volunteer in her future husbands’ squadron, a loving wife to a Naval Commander for 52 years, a mother to a son and daughter, a champion tennis player & excellent figure skater, a Mary Kaye Consultant, the grandmother of two fine young men, & great-grandmother to a beautiful little girl.
Georgine’s love of dressmaking led her to Miami-Dade College to earn an Associate Degree in fashion design in her early 50s.
Georgine lived in the Florida Keys with her husband for 20+ years and was an amazing fisher woman! She will be missed by all who knew & loved her incredible spirit! She is survived by her loving daughter, Ellen DeVito; her grandsons: Kenneth & Donald DeVito, & her great-granddaughter, Adelaide Elizabeth DeVito.

What a lovely tribute to your mom. She lived a wonderful life and even if she didn’t show it, I’m sure she loved you to the best of her ability. You gave her a great send off. big hugs.
