Gladys (Flood) Jones, 83, of Vero Beach, Florida passed away October 19, 2019 with her family by her side.

She was born January 4, 1936 in Sebastian, FL to the late Ceth Pat Flood and Pearl Gore Flood. Gladys was a 1954 graduate of Vero Beach High School, where she served as Majorette.

Prior to retirement in 2004, she worked 20 years as a medical secretary for Vero X-Ray.

Gladys leaves her memories to be cherished by her children, Debra Coburn of Vero Beach, Darlene Piatt-Basden of Raleigh, NC and Ray Jones of Vero Beach; brothers, Robert Flood of Montana and Burl Flood of Vero Beach; grandchildren, Josh, Chris, Cyndi, Logan and Chase and great-grandchildren, Sam, Jacob, Natalie, Cheyenne, Miguel, Kiely and Noah. She was predeceased by her husband, Issac Frank Jones in 1983 and her brother, Pat Flood Jr.

A funeral service will be held 11 am, Thursday, October 24 at Friendship Christian Community Church, 611 Schumann Drive, Sebastian, FL 32958 with Reverend Ron Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Sebastian Cemetery.
