Gladys Milagros Rambla born on November 7, 1942, and passed away on May 21st, 2023.
Gladys was a Cuban born Spaniard descendant lived a life loving the Lord she longed to see Jesus’ face to face. Her favorite song was ” It is well with my soul” she served the Lord since age 11, at 13 she traveled to America with missionaries, and she taught her family to help, and walk the extra mile for the needy, when the revolution took place in Cuba at 21, she was in charge of a Methodist church in Cuba and many small missions in the area.
In 1965, the regime closed most churches and that was the end of the ministry there. In the 80s she had two local radio programs in Miami and Belle Glade, in 1993 she traveled to Santo Domingo with 300 lbs. of clothes for an orphanage, in 2001 her husband built a house in Panama where Gladys served as a missionary to the indigenous, as she aged the house was sold and she came back to United States, but she continued to teach the gospel. She often spoke about Jesus to everyone she met. She taught Faith, and to wait on God. Gladys loved Panama and its people
Gladys is survived by her husband Victor Rambla of 68 years, five daughters Nancy R Acevedo, Norma C Rambla, Nilda E Rambla, Nirma E. Gabbard, Nelvis D. Tyrkas.
Grandsons: Elijah Padin, Giovanni Barroso, Jonathan Barroso, Joshua Barroso, Joshua Gabbard, Brian Tyrkas.
Granddaughter: Chelsea Wilkins
Great-grandsons: Elijah J Padin, Issac Barroso, Tristan Barroso, Devin Barroso and Great-granddaughter Olivia Jade Barroso.
