On Friday morning, March 5th, 2021, Carlos Bonilla and Gloria Amparo Bernal tragically died in a vehicle crash in Hollywood, Florida.

Carlos and Amparo dedicated their entire life to their family.  He worked multiple jobs, and long hours without complaint of the type of work, in order to provide for his wife and his children back home in Colombia.  Amparo, in turn, was a dedicated and loving mother caring for their four children, Tatiana, Milady, Felipe, and Andrea, and taking care of all home matters back in Colombia.

Amparo and Carlos were sweethearts from a very young age, and not even the many miles kept them apart. They were inseparable in life and after 43 years of marriage, they left this world together, sitting side-by-side.

Carlos and Amparo are survived by:
Children: Tatiana, Milady, Felipe and Andrea
Grandchildren: Silvia, Valentina, Salomé, Sebastián, Maria Camila, Mariana, Ana María, Gabriela, Mathias and one on the way.
Great-grandchildren: Sara

Amparo leaves behind her parents, sisters/brothers, and other relatives who loved her who still live in Colombia.

Carlos is survived by his mother Bertha, his sister Sara, nieces, nephews, and many relatives who loved him both here in the States and in Colombia.

In order to assist the family, a GoFundMe page was created.  GF.ME/U/ZMFJ3F

Bernal family, may you find comfort in God’s promise at Revelation 21:3,4.
“God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things has passed away.”
