Guadalupe Ordonez

Guadalupe Ordonez

July 10, 1951~November 30, 2024

Born in Kukra Hill, Nicaragua, Guadalupe Ordonez was raised by her loving parents, Victor and Maura Ordonez, alongside her eight siblings.

In her 40s, driven by unshakable determination, Guadalupe made the courageous decision to move to the United States with her four children—whether or not her former husband chose to join her. She embodied the true meaning of perseverance, overcoming every challenge life placed in her path.

Her journey in the U.S. began in Paterson, NJ, where she lived with her sister Lilian. Later, she moved to Miramar, FL, to be closer to her parents. With the support of her son and her ex-husband, she purchased her own home—a testament to her resilience and drive.

Guadalupe worked tirelessly as an assistant manager for a credit company for over 20 years, eventually retiring at the age of 67.

She was the proud mother of four children: Edgar Ordonez, Maura Wilson, Eveling Holmes, and Terry Holmes (deceased). Her legacy continues through her five beloved grandchildren: Edgar Ordonez Jr., Rafael Wilson, Sky Moses-Ordonez, Jaden Ragins, and Kyle Moses-Ordonez.

Guadalupe’s love for her children and grandchildren was boundless and unwavering. She nurtured them with the same fierce dedication that defined her entire life.

Guadalupe will forever be remembered as a symbol of courage, determination, and unconditional love. Her strength and spirit continue to inspire those she leaves behind.

Rest in Peace, Guadalupe.
You will always be in our hearts.

I did not have the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Ordonez, but I met her daughter Eveling. And based on the saying, the apple doesn’t fall from the tree, I know she had a beautiful spirit and a good heart. My condolences to her family. Much love to the family.

Our families have been in each other lives since I got memory, when Everlyng used to be Carolina best friend and i was always with her, Terry taking care of me cause I wanted to play with the big guys. Edgar a great friend of my dad and uncles. And Miss Lupe right there always watching over us like the mother she was… Then here, a great friend of my grandmother. I was lucky enough that I got to see her again when I move here but none the less she was always on our lives. She raised great kids and passed her selfless spirits to her kids, and I am proof of that, Edgar her elder son was the first person to give me a hand (beside family) when I came with work. Love you guys, receive my condolences from my own family Espinoza-Barrero.
