Tribute to Hazel Hylton

Sunrise: March 27, 1939 to Sunset: December 29, 2024

It is with deep sorrow that I announce the death of my mother, Hazel Hylton, who left us on December 29, 2024, after a beautiful life full of love, laughter and resilience. She touched the lives of all who knew her.

To commemorate her incredible journey and to celebrate the love she spread, a Memorial Service will be held at Christ the Rock Community Church  located at 11000 Stirling Road, Cooper City, Florida 33028  on January 17, 2025 at 2:00 PM.

We invite all who knew her to join us in remembering a truly remarkable woman.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation. MMRF  https://themmrf.org

My dearest Aunt Hazel ❤️💐(my older cousin I call aunt).
You left us on 12.29.2024. A day I will always remember every year because of what that day means to me from as far back as I can remember. I will always remember your birthday because I got married the day before on the 26th. You are my superstar. ✨️ 💛 💖 ♥️ I love you always and forever. I look forward to the day when our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will have the grand banquet for us who He welcomes and say, “Well done, my good and faithful servant!”

My dearest Mommy,

Words cannot express the gratitude that I have for you. You have always been the constant in my life. I don’t quite know how I will do life without you but it gives me peace to know that you are no longer suffering and you will still be beside me as my guardian angel. Until we meet again in my dreams, I love you forever and always.

My dear cousin,
I have so many precious memories of you. You were always a shining example of how to live your best life. You would take us to concerts, on shopping trips and just spend time with us, and I will never forget those times. More recently, you were largely responsible for me getting a job with Senior Planet, which has turned out to be a dream job for me. You introduced me to Senior Planet with so much enthusiasm as you took technology and fitness classes and webinars on their website. I decided to try one of the fitness classes which directly led to my current emploment.

We still had so many plans – to visit the Miami Senior Planet center together and to do some traveling. I guess Heaven needed another strong Angel, so you now reside with the Ancestors. I love you and miss you, and will carry treasured memories of you in my heart and in my spirit always. ❤️💕❤️

Jah know. Still feels unreal but I love you so much. Such a bright spirit and aged so gracefully. All my life I admired you in so many ways I’m glad I got to see you when I did. I’m forever thankful.
