Berrini, Helena A., 91, of Golden Beach, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2010. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph, of 57 years. She is survived by her daughters; Carolyn Ann Phillips and Andrea L. Walker, brother, John Chiariello, sister-in-law Gloria Lamontagne, grandchildren: Richard Phillips Jr., Stephanie Perry Coley and Andrew Walker Jennifer, Great granddaughter, Alexandra Grace Perry and her dear friends: Gloria Berdick, Theresa La Banca, Edith Casa Grande and Sheila Perrone. Both Mrs. Berrini and her late husband were well known for their hospitality and their talent for entertaining as owners of Casa Berrini Restaurant in Marshfield, MA, and continued upon their retirement to Florida entertaining their many friends and family in their home. Mrs. Berrini loved her new community, and was an active participant in town elections, serving on numerous committees. She enjoyed the beach, was an avid reader and loved to travel. She also was a gifted teacher as was her husband imparting their many tricks of the trade and fabulous recipes and cooking techniques to their family and friends, many of whom still carry on the traditions. Mrs. Berrini will be remembered for her wonderful smile, quick wit, and razor sharp mind which she maintained up to her passing. She was an extraordinary business woman and devoted to her family and friends. She will be deeply missed. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2011, 10:00 AM, at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 542 Blue Heron Drive, Hallandale.
