Herb B. Boulden, Jr. went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 17, 2023. He spent the last weeks of his life surrounded by his entire, loving family, even getting to meet his newest great-granddaughter.

Herb was born May 7, 1938, and spent most of his adult life outside of Philadelphia, PA before moving to Barefoot Bay, FL in 1997. The last 7 years he has been living in Vero Beach, FL.

Herb graduated from Widener University. He was a Certified Public Accountant. He spent most of his career as the Chief Financial Officer for Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia prior to retirement in 1997.

Herb enjoyed spending time with his family, especially long summer vacations in Avalon, NJ. He also enjoyed sailing with his work buddies and simply sunning himself in the backyard. Herb gave his life to Jesus in 1952. He was active in his church, but even more so after retirement. He was a soul-winner, attended men’s Bible studies and prayer meetings, helped in the handicap bus ministry, just to name a few areas of service. But given the chance, he would give God all the glory for anything he did in His name.

Herb is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Karen, daughter Michelle (Steve), sons Brandt (Lisa), Dwayne (Veronica). Grandchildren Andrea (Max), Steven (Hannah), Steven, Sarah (Justin), Quinn, Simon, Samantha, Norah, Avril, Adele. Great granddaughters Kenna, Rylie, Liberty. Sister-in-law Linda. Predeceased by father Herb Sr., mother Estelle, brother Robert, and first wife Eleanor.
