Hilda “Yaya” Hernandez, age 74 of Miami, Florida, passed away November 30, 2023. She was born in La Maya, Cuba on December 1, 1948 to the late Gil and Emilia Ricardo.
She is survived by her daughters: Diane Romero and her husband, Ivan Romero and Marilyn Hernandez Sagrista and her husband, Michael Sagrista; grandchildren: Daniel Romero and his wife, Brooke, Emily Romero, Matthew Sagrista and Melanie Sagrista; great-grandson, Oliver Romero; brother, Gil Ricardo, Jr. and his wife, Maria; sister, Vivian Ricardo Johnson and nieces: Melissa Ritrivi and Denise Rovello.
Visitation to be held on Sunday, December 10, 2023 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM with Prayer Service at 12:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 1600 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024.

I am remembering the wonderful evening this beautiful photo was taken. My heart is broken heart along with Oh so many tears. Hilda was surprisingly funny and will always be remembered as that happy gal full of delightful stories that had us truly “laughing out loud.” May her beautiful soul rest in great peace with her parents and brother- in-law, Ron.
