Irma Corujo Martinez, age 94, of Sunrise Florida, passed away on April 24th surrounded by her loved ones. Irma was born on April 2nd,1931 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico to Amalia Martinez and Regino Corujo Rodriguez. She attended Wilfred Academy of Hair and Beauty Culture and graduated as a Beautician working many years in the Bronx and Bronxville, NY and Sunrise, FL. 

She had many friends whom she loved and always had a cup of coffee and a meal to share with them. She loved to dance, shop and try new foods. Irma is survived by her daughter Nilsa Perez (nee Rubin) married to Peter Perez, with grandchildren Elena and Adriana Perez, Veronica Sousa Rubin, Hiram Rubin, Rudolfo Gotay, and great-grandchildren Alexander and Valentina Sousa. Irma is predeceased by her son Hiram Renee Rubin (2007), married to Ruth Rubin, and husbands Jose Renee Rubin and Miguel Cruz. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to NYC City Harvest and Feeding South Florida in Irmas Memory.
