Jackie W. Godbey, age 94, of Davie, Florida, passed away January 22, 2022. He was born in Boomer, West Virginia on May 21, 1927.

He proudly served his country in the US Navy. He truly enjoyed his job as a carpenter and also loved playing guitar.

Jackie is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Juanita Godbey; son, Ross Godbey, and his wife Marilyn; grandchildren: Melissa Elswick, and her husband, Stanley, John Godbey, David Godbey, and his wife, Jennifer and Robert A. Godbey, and his wife, Elecia; great-granddaughters: Molly Rhodes and Olivia Godbey; brother-in-law, Robert Spangler, and his wife Cora and sister-in-law Evelyn Howlett.

Graveside service to be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 2:00 PM at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 South State Road 7, Lake Worth, Florida 33449, with military honors being rendered by the US Navy.
