McDonald, James E. died on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004 at 4:45 PM at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood. He was born in Pineville, KY on Nov. 19, 1928. He was raised in Williamsburg, KY and Richmond, KY. As a young adult James moved to Dayton, OH where he worked for the Dayton Daily News. James has been a resident of So. Florida for the past 36 years. He worked as a printer for many years before becoming a piano tuner. He was an avid horseracing fan as well as an accomplished artist. James is preceeded in death by his wife Barbara Snyder McDonald, his father William McDonald, his mother Neva McDonald and his brothers William Cecil McDonald, Nevel Pennington and Fred McDonald. He is survived by his daughter Lolli-renee McLeroy, granddaughter Allison Barbara McLeroy, three sisters Marjorie Ellison of Williamsburg, KY, Ruth Matlock of Troy, OH and Hazel Hufziger of Warsaw IN, and two brothers Curtis McDonald of Dayton, OH and Raymond McDonald of Troy, OH. He was a kind, generous and loving soul who will be deeply missed. Friends may call today, Tuesday, Feb. 10 from 7 to 7:30 PM at First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood, 1600 Hollywood BLVD. A religious service will be held at 7:30 PM in the Church. Interment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Tipp City , Ohio. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood in Mr. McDonalds memory.
