There are no words to express our sympathy in the passing of truly a wonderful man. We have had the pleasure of being friends with Jim for many years now and felt that he was part of our family. From his beautiful singing voice to his unconditional love for our children, Amanda, Nicolas and Vincent he will never be forgotten. His heart was as big as he was and we will never forget his laughter, his passion for life and the love he had for our family. May God give you the strength you need to get through this difficult time. We are here for you in whatever you need.

Peg and family, Please accept my heartfelt condolence. I haven’t seen James for years, but remember him well. He was such a happy, friendly guy. I remember seeing James on television singing at a Red Sox game.
It was very recently that my nephew, Michael McSherry, asked me to look you and James up…I’m so sorry that I didn’t do it sooner.

Dear Peg,
I have a lifetime of happy memories when I think of you both. The two booming voices of my youth were my father’s and Jim’s. He was a fine man who always found a way to lighten a moment. Take care Peg.
Please know I think of you both with great love.
