Stone, James S., 69, of Hollywood passed away Monday, October 9.
He was a member of Pembroke Rd. Baptist Church, a 33 degree Mason, Retired from U.S. Merchant Marines. He retired from Publix Super Market where he worked as a produce associate. He was also owner of Stone’s Restaurant in Perrine, FL in the 1970’s. He is survivied by his wife Rowrena Stone of Hollywood, daughter Amanda Stone, sons James S. Stone III and Nicholas Stone of Hollywood, 2 Grandsons, sister Marlene Wolfe of Alaska, uncle Jack Haney of Ruckerville, VA, Aunt Frances Sims of Charlotte, NC.
Friends may visit from 6-8 PM, Thursday at Boyd’s Univ. Drive Chapel. There will be a Masonic Service and Tributes of a Lifetime 7:00 PM, Thursday at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM, Friday at Pembroke Road Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens.
