Jane was married to her High School sweetheart and love of her life Robert LaBruto for 68 years. Together for 73 years they met at Jackson High School, Miami FL fell in love continuing their courtship post High school. Robert left for Florida State University where he joined Phi Kappa Alpha fraternity and quickly invited Jane to the campus where he gave her his fraternity pin in front of Westcott Fountain a long fraternity tradition and the rest is history they married a year later and were never apart again.

Jane worked in the banking industry for many years for SunTrust Bank formerly Riverside Bank in Miami, FL  until in 1972 she made the decision to retire to become a full-time homemaker.

Jane enjoyed playing tennis going to the gym and being active in the PTA and many other woman’s and social groups. Jane also loved to travel and spend time with family. Her favorite getaway was to their home in the Blue Ridge Mountains of GA in Big Canoe, GA where they lived 6 months there and 6 months in FL until she was no longer able to make the trip.

Jane was welcomed into heaven by her parents William B Sneed and Willie Belle Sneed, her sisters Louise Wardlaw, Mildred (Dodie) Tarwater, brother Harold Sneed and nephew’s Richard Sneed and Mickey Sneed

She leaves behind her beloved husband Robert LaBruto of Hollywood, FL, her daughter Karen LaBruto of Pembroke Pines FL, Nieces Pamela Harwell (Jerry) of Hickory NC, Marlene Stout (Ron) of Naples, FL Nephews William Tarwater (Marcie) of Atlanta GA, Steven Tarwater (Renee) of Gardendale, AL, Robert Tarwater of Gardendale AL, Ronald Tarwater of Birmingham AL and Great-nephew Peter Wardlaw(Kathy) of Atlanta GA and many other great Nieces and Nephews and cousins. Although Jane was never blessed with grandchildren she did love her Grandcats and her many Honory Grandchildren she loved as if they were her own Rachel and Victor Viacava, Jennifer and Rebecca Burleton, Alexa Devarona/Colman and Michael LaGuardia.
