I cannot say that I knew your son but I can say that:

The day Jason was born, somewhere a flower bloomed, the sun shone even brighter, and the wind moved over the ocean, it whispered his name… He was a special person, and the world was a better place because he was in it.

When storm clouds darken your world, remember friendship offers a safe harbor where you are never alone…there you will find support and understanding.

And please try to remember… whenever you smell the rain, or hear a birds song, or see a butterfly in the sun, you will know Jason is thinking of you from above and wishing you and yours a peaceful feeling.

I am so so sorry for your loss. I was there with you before, during and after Jason was here on earth and I cannot express the sadness I feel in my heart. I just now found out about this on the 9th and I wish I could have been there for you at your time of need. I would have been there at the funeral but did not know about it. I am so sad for your family and want you to know I am there for you in a minute if you need me.

Jason and I were best friends for a few years when we were 18. We grew and had some great times together. Lost touch after I joined the service, and was hoping to reunite. I found about his passing online searching for him. I can’t believe he’s gone….what a loss. See you up there bro.
