Jean Louise Biagi, age 88, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 30th, 2019, at Florida Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She was born on January 26th, 1931, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
She worked at the Philadelphia Bulletin newspaper until moving to Detroit, Michigan. Jean worked for many wonderful years at the Detroit Free Press newspaper. She married Italian musician, Giuliano Biagi, on September 20th, 1958, at Saint Peter’s Basilica in Rome, Italy. They lived a happy life in Oak Park, Michigan before deciding to move to the sunshine of Hollywood, Florida, on July 4th, 1972.
Jean continued to work in the newspaper business at the Hollywood Sun-Tattler newspaper until she retired. She had the natural ability to reach people in a kind, uplifting way. She was fond of the simple pleasures of life with her family and friends. All who knew Jean saw that her family was the most important part of her life. She and her beloved husband, Giuliano, loved the sunny skies of Florida where they enjoyed their home in Hollywood for 45 years.
She is survived by those she cherished: her son, Brent; her daughter, Lisa; her daughter-in-law, Marielle; her grandchildren, Nicholas and Andrew. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.
You are invited to remember and honor Jean’s life beginning with a Visitation to be held from 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, Hollywood Boulevard Chapel and a Mass to be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Hollywood, Florida, followed by entombment at Forest Lawn South.

Mrs. B,
to my beautiful second mom for all those years in the late 70's and early 80's! Your place on Washington St. was truly my home away from home and it seemed I spent more time there than my own. Thanks so much for all the joy, laughter, love, and good times we shared and it left an indelible mark in my memory. No one, no matter their continued attempts, can remove those precious years, or the love I have for them and your family. Rest well my angel and I will probably see you soon. With love always, Michelle R.
