It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jeanne Franchette Charles, who entered eternal rest on February 27, 2026, at the age of 95, after a long and courageous journey. She passed peacefully surrounded by her loved ones.
Franchette will be deeply missed for her strength, concern for others, generosity, and unwavering love for her family and those around her. A very private and reserved woman. She lived with dignity, resilience, and grace.
She is survived by her younger brother, Claude Rousseau; her beloved children, Hélène, Alix, Florence, Patrick, and Lenia; and her cherished grandchildren, Alexandra, Joshua, Samantha, Alexander, Julien, Kaehlin, Sabrina, Fabian, Vladimir, Ann-Catherine, and Zayden. She is also survived by her ten great-grandchildren.
She will be fondly remembered by her in-laws, Garry Victorin, Carol Charles, and Mike Montinard, as well as her goddaughter Jasmine, numerous nieces and nephews, extended family members, and friends with whom she shared a unique and meaningful bond.
Family, friends, and all who wish to offer their condolences are invited to gather on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, located at 1600 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024.
The Funeral Mass will follow at 12:00 noon at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 8005 Miramar Parkway, Pembroke Pines, Fl.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made in memory of Jeanne Franchette Charles to the the JAYJ Foundation for Women and Children. Contributions may be made at jayjfoundation.org/donate.
Franchette’s legacy is one of wisdom, integrity, resilience, and love.

You were my mother , my friend and my counselor to my entire life and now you are gone. You will be remembered for the rest of my life, we spoke every day and you keep me going to do the right thing .

Jeanne Franchette Charles, a beloved grandmother, mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully. Known for her strength, independence, honesty, and caring nature, Meme touched the lives of everyone around her. She valued family above all and was devoted to those she loved.
Meme will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will never fade.
