Jeannine passed away peacefully at the age of 94 in her home of 62 years, surrounded by family and friends.
She is survived by her three sons, twelve grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and eleven great, great grandchildren. She is the last of her siblings to pass, two sisters and two brothers.
Jeannine was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota. Realizing that she didn’t like the cold weather, at an early age she ventured on her own to Los Angeles, California. She often talked of Wilshire Boulevard. She arrived in Miami in her twenties where she met the love of her life, Harry Bond. They raised their family in Miami Gardens, Florida. She had a variety of careers from a title clerk to a secretary treasurer of middle and high schools in the Miami Dade County public school system. Her children attended the schools she worked at so she could keep an eye on them. She was a devoted wife and mother. She nurtured her Catholic faith at Saint Monica’s Catholic Church in Carol City. She is reunited with her husband and family in the Kingdom of our Heavenly Father.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Monica’s Catholic Church at 3490 NW 191st St, Miami Gardens, FL 33056 at 10am on February 8th, followed by the burial at South Florida National Cemetery, located in western Lake Worth, Florida, 6501 FL-7, Wellington, FL 33449.
