Jesus Manuel Rodriguez Jr. was the youngest of eleven born to Julia Burgos and Jesus Manuel Rodriguez on Feb. 5, 1946 in Rio Cañas Arriba, Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico.

In the mid-1960s, Jesus moved to Cleveland with the help of his older siblings, where he would remain until his retirement in 2008. It was also in Cleveland where he met his beloved wife, Carmen Lydia Rodriguez.

The two were married on Dec. 10, 1982, and they welcomed their only child, Jessica, on April 23, 1986. Upon retirement in 2008, Jesus and Carmen moved back to Puerto Rico and then settled in Florida in 2016 to be closer to their daughter.

Throughout the years, Jesus wore many hats and was a father, brother, friend, and confidant to many. He loved to be with his family, play dominoes, dance salsa, and represent his beloved Puerto Rico.

He will truly be missed by his loved ones and all who had the honor of meeting him.

Jesus is survived by his wife of 38 years, Carmen Lydia Rodriguez, his family: daughter Jessica Enid Beguiristain (husband Joseph), sister Enriqueta (Kety), and many cherished nieces and nephews.

A Public Visitation will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021 from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM with a Prayer Service beginning at 8:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 6400 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, Florida 33024.

A Second Viewing will be held at Funeraria Fermín Rivera, 15 calle Tomás Carrión Maduro, Juana Díaz PR 00795 on a date “To Be Determined”.

His burial will be at Cementerio Municipal #2, Carretera 156, Aguas Buenas, PR 00727 on a date “To Be Determined”.

Jesús Manuel Rodríguez Jr. era el menor de once hijos de Julia Burgos y Jesús Manuel Rodríguez el 5 de febrero de 1946 en Río Cañas Arriba, Juana Díaz, Puerto Rico.

En los 1960s, Jesús se mudó a Cleveland con la ayuda de sus hermanos mayores, donde permanecería hasta su jubilación en 2008. También fue en Cleveland donde conoció a su amada esposa, Carmen Lydia Rodríguez.

Los dos se casaron el 10 de diciembre de 1982 y dieron la bienvenida a su única hija, Jessica, el 23 de abril de 1986. Al jubilarse en 2008, Jesús y Carmen se mudaron de regreso a Puerto Rico y luego se establecieron en Florida en 2016 para estar más cerca a su hija.

Jesús tuvo muchos sombreros fue padre, hermano, amigo y confidente de muchos. Le encantaba estar con su familia, jugar dominó, bailar salsa y representar a su amado Puerto Rico.

Realmente lo extrañarán sus seres queridos y todos los que tuvieron el honor de conocerlo.

A Jesús le sobrevive su esposa durante 38 años, Carmen Lydia Rodríguez, su familia: su hija Jessica Enid Beguiristain (esposo Joseph), su hermana Enriqueta (Kety) y muchos queridos sobrinas y sobrinos.

Se llevará a cabo una visita pública el viernes 19 de noviembre de 2021 de 7:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m. con un servicio de oración a partir de las 8:00 p.m. en Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 6400 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, Florida 33024.

Se realizará una segunda visita en la Funeraria Fermín Rivera, 15 calle Tomás Carrión Maduro, Juana Díaz PR 00795 en fecha “por determinar”.

Su entierro será en el Cementerio Municipal # 2, Carretera 156, Aguas Buenas, PR 00727 en una fecha “por determinar”.
