His stories of working on airplanes led me to my Army career as a helicopter mechanic. I remember a trip I made to see him after I began learning aircraft maintenance. He showed me around the Eastern Maintenance Hangar and was in awe.

I will remember fondly my last visit with Uncle Jack, at a Longhorn Steakhouse in Broward County, Florida. He and my dear cousin, Jan, and her husband arranged to see me while I was on a business trip to the area. He always displayed a tremendous sense of humor and was one of the most caring family members I know. He will be greatly missed, and my wife and I certainly feel the pain of his passing. He is always in our hearts. Our loving condolences to Jim, Janet, and all of the grand and great-grandchildren

My deepest sympathy Jan. I still remember what a warm and wonderful man your Dad was. You, your Mom and Dad were all wonderful friends to me. Remember when I used to leave milk shakes at your front door for you and your Dad to enjoy. I will always remember your Dad’s kindness and good advice.
