John William Barnes age 69 of Pembroke Pines, Florida, passed away July 26, 2023. He was born in Cheboygan, Michigan on August 7, 1953 to the late Richard and Darlene Barnes.

He is survived by his wife of almost 48 years, Dawn Barnes; sons: John Barnes and Jason (Jessica) Barnes; grandchildren: Jason Barnes and Evalie Barnes and siblings: Mary Croswell, Sally (Mike) Montoye, Bryan (Cindy) Barnes, Robert (Laurel) Barnes and Kathy (Craig) Patterson.

Private Graveside Service to be held at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia with Military Honors being rendered by the U.S. Army Honor Guard.
