Jorge Giron passed away from injuries sustained during a car accident on April 17, 2022 at Ryder Truama Center. He was born on May 7, 1992, in Medellin, Colombia to his parents, Rodrigo Giron Ochoa and Janneth Stella Atehortua.
Jorge had an Associate’s degree in Biology and was working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. He was also working as a warehouse associate to earn funds to further his education. Jorge held many passions of interest, including science, economics, politics, and social issues pertaining to his strong sense of national pride. He was a self-taught, quick learner with unwavering self-confidence in the face of adversity that you usually don’t find in recent generations. Jorge was impeccably honest with unquestionable integrity, traits rarely seen in few men. In addition, he earnestly cared for all his family and friends deeply.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rodrigo Giron Ochoa. He is survived by his mother, Janneth McGrath, stepfather, Gregory McGrath, and his brothers, Rodrigo Giron and Ali Fares. He also left behind, two loving grandmothers, Maria Patino and Olga Ochoa as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will be greatly missed by all.
There will be a viewing at Bible Baptist Church, Pembroke Pines, Florida, on April 27, 2022 at 11:00 AM followed by the service at 11:30. His final resting place will be at Vista Memorial Gardens, Miami Lakes, Florida.
