Hermida, Jose Manuel, a long time resident of Miramar, entered into eternal rest on March 13, 2014, at the age of 91. He leaves behind to mourn his passing his devoted wife of 61 years, Estrella Hermida nee Perera; his beloved children, Carlos Xiomara Hermida, Elena Tamburi and Gloria Gonzalez; his loving grandchildren, Alina Steinmiller, Daniel Gonzalez, Adriana DeLap, David Hermida, Samantha Rae Hermida and Amalie Quintero; and his dear great-grandchildren, Athena Rose DeLap, Audrinna Steinmiller and Alexandria DeLap. A memorial gathering was held on Saturday, March 15, 2014, between 5-7 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 6:00 p.m. at Boyd-Panciera Hollywood Boulevard Chapel.
