Lockwood, Joyce Adeline, Fletcher, Roe passed away peacfully on Feb. 21, 2008 at the age of 101, with her family at her side. She is survived by her children; Dorothy Rupert Terrier of Hollywood, FL; Vincent Aston Dorothy Roe, of Alberta, Canada; Collin John Fletcher of South Miami FL and Richard Paul Rubye Lockwood of West Palm Beach and Greer, SC along with 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren and extended family. Joyce was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, in 1988, Wilfred “Mickey” Lockwood formerly of Yorkshire and Sheffield, England. They were active members of the British Floridian Club. She loved to dance and won many prizes for their ballroom dancing. Joyce lived in many places: Philadelphia, PA; Kingston, Jamaica; Sheffield, England, and for the past 52 years in Biscayne Park and Hollywood, FL. Joyce was a loving caregiver to family and friends, she was loved and will be greatly missed by all. Friends may gather from 10:30 AM Saturday at St. James-In-The-Hills Episcopal Church, 3329 Wilson Street, Hollywood, FL 33021. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 AM . In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Joyce Lockwood Memorial Fund at St. James in-the-Hills Episcopal Church.
