Kelvin Hamilton Akeung, (95), of Boynton Beach, Florida, passed away
peacefully on January 17, 2024, surrounded by his family.
Kelvin was born to Wilson and Shivkalia Akeung on November 21, 1928.
He was a talented engineer who dedicated over sixty years to his work.
His commitment to managing production lines for several enterprise
companies across the Caribbean earned him respect and admiration from
colleagues and peers
Family was the cornerstone of Kelvin’s life. He was a devoted son, brother,
husband, and father. Kelvin is survived by his five children: Sons – Russel,
Warren, and Jonathan; Daughters – Sueko and Rachelle; and Grand-
daughter Amanda. He is also survived by his siblings, Doreen, Patsy, and
Harry, along with his nephews and nieces including Brian, Irving, Valerie,
and Natasha. Kelvin was predeceased by his parents, Wilson and
Shivkalia; his siblings, Enid, Jerry, Sydney, and Albert; and his children
Kelly and Karen.
A private memorial service will be held on February 17, 2024, from 2:00pm
to 4:00pm EST at Boyd-Panciera Funeral Home located at 1600 North
University Drive, Pembroke Pines, FL 33024. There will be a repast after
the service.
Kelvin’s legacy will live on through the values he instilled in his family and
the impact he made on those fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in
peace. “Till We Meet Again”
