Kenneth A. McIntyre, born December 14, 1943 adopted son of Dr. Francis E. and Mrs. Frances G. McIntyre, Chicago, Illinois. Pre-deceased by brother Douglas. Graduated Mamaroneck Senior High School in 1962. Joined US Air Force in 1963 and served 7 years until 1970. Married to Pamela J. Porterfield on April 18, 1964.

While in the military, he served tours in Bremerhaven, Germany for 2 years. Then transferred to Castle Air Force Base in Merced, California for another 2 years. After that, he traveled to Clark Air Force Base in the Phillippines. His final tour was in San Antonio, Texas at Kelly Air Force Base.

After his military career he settled in Pembroke Pines, Florida and worked for an Engineering Contracting company until 1992. Then went to work for the City of Tamarac as the Building Department Manager in 1993 and retired in 2010. Went to work for the City of Pompano Beach, building department and retired in 2014 and stayed on part time until 2021.

Survived by wife, Pamela McIntyre and 4 children: Kenneth McIntyre Jr, of Springfield, MO, David E. McIntyre of Royal Palm Beach, FL, Kari Cameron of Cooper City, FL and Tighe P. McIntyre of Franklin, GA. He had 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, Ken would like donations to the Diabetes Association or or Tunnels to Towers.

Memorial Services to be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 1600 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024.
