Uncle Ken, you will be so so dearly missed. We regret not surrounding you more. You have made us realize how short life is, and how close and dear we need to hold each other, and no matter how hectic life gets, we need to find time for each other. Love you always. Tell Auntie hi for us. We will try our best to stay close to Michelle and family, praying for your strength. Our prayers for Dena and Devin as well. Gone, but, will never ever ever be forgotten.

A forever young soul, one with caring of a mother and wisdom of a father. Ken you have given me so much and probably without even realizing half of it. I can’t begin to tell you how many times you’ve made me smile and made me feel like your home was mine as well. Of all the phone numbers in the world, 828-8973 will always be remembered, it was my favorite number to hear because it meant i would be “home” soon. For all joy there must be pain, and vice versa. You had a wonderful life, full of true love and miracles, as well as hardships and trials. The one regret I have is not letting you know I was next to you at Denise’s funeral. I was dealing with the loss myself and could not even move. I’m sorry for that, although I’m sure you would say don’t worry about it. Thank you for everything, from the smallest gestures to the biggest of favors, I appreciate it more than words can express. See you when it’s time Uncle.

with love,

Kevin

My sincerest condolences to Dena and Michelle and family for the lost of our brother, Ken.

I met Ken and Dena when they visited our church, Carol City United Methodist Church on his last Sunday on earth. Ken, with tears streaming down his face, invited Dena to accompany him to the altar. I prayed for healing at his request and then invited them to pray the sinner’s prayer. We praised God for their salvation and rejoiced with them afterwards. We thought Ken would be with us for a while yet but God decided to heal Ken by taking His son home. Rest in God’s presence, my dear brother.
