In Loving Memory of Kevin Matthews

With deepest regrets, we announce the passing of Kevin Matthews, who left us on October 5, 2025, at the young age of 54.

Kevin was born on April 2, 1971, at Memorial Hospital in Hollywood, Florida, to Oralia Matthews and the late John Matthews Sr.

He is survived by his loving mother, Oralia Matthews; his older brother, Jay Matthews; and his cherished niece, Shelby Hunsburger.

Kevin had a deep love for animals and a generous heart that touched many. He was the kind of person who would offer a helping hand to friends, family, and even strangers—anyone who needed support. You could always count on him.

He also had a passion for motorcycles, firearms, welding, and building things—skills he pursued with enthusiasm and creativity.

Kevin will be remembered for his loyalty, kindness, and strength of character. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten. I was truly blessed to have him as my brother, and I will forever miss him.
