BROWARD — Lanza Labertine Turner-Bowen died Sunday, December 30, 2018 at the age of 61.

Mrs. Turner-Bowen is preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Turner and brother, Patrick Turner. She is survived by her beloved husband, Richard Bowen; her loving son, Richard Francis Bowen; step-daughter, Trystal Ann Bowen; mother, Marsella (Miss Mercy) Turner; sister, Linnette Turner; brothers, Joel, Dylan, Allan, Thomas, Lloyd, and D’Phil Turner. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

From a young age, Mrs. Turner-Bowen was always a high energy person who loved to persevere.  She found her soul mate and partner for life, when she married Richard. Together, they raised their son and spent 25 wonderful years. She had a magnetic personality, she was a woman of God with an unprecedented faith, woman of peace, and loved her immediate and extended family unconditionally, and they loved her dearly as well. She belonged to many organizations and was an Attorney at Law who practice for 29 years. She will be forever missed. 

Thanksgiving service will be held on Thursday, January 31st, 11:00 a.m. at the Webster Memorial United Church in Kingston, Jamaica and will be officiated by Rev. Astor Carlyle and Pastor Al Miller. 

Arrangements entrusted to Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel.

It was a privilege to have known Lanza. She always greeted me with a warm hug and a smile and at my 40th celebration gave us lots of laughs. I am saddened to hear of her passing and pray that God will give comfort and peace to the family. May Lanza’s sweet soul rest in peace.

Lanza …. will be missed. I am grateful for the times that we have shared. Appreciate even more that she & Richard took the time for my 2017 birthday celebration weekend at Cannon Villas.
