I had the pleasure of knowing Larry while working in Miami Florida, he was a genuinely good man with a good heart, he had the difficult job of being a human resources officer for a major hospital which is challenging and stressful on most days. He did it with a sense of humor and quiet professionalism. He was proud of having served in the military and would always help employees serving in the armed forces reserves to meet their service commitments. I remember he enjoyed golf and used to joke that he never met a patch of grass he didn’t want to put a golf ball on. Even with the ever present threat of cancer he kept his humor and focus on what mattered. Rest in peace and god bless his family.
