Laura Tomor

August 15, 1934~December 28, 2021

It is with tremendous sorrow and pain that I write this obituary for an amazing woman that gave me life.

My beloved beautiful mother Laura Tomor was one of a kind treasure. Loved by her 4 brothers ( Felix, Carlos, Pepe, and Pablo) and 2 sisters (Juana and Teresa), her husband of 25 years (our Dad), Emery L. Tomor and her children Mark E. Tomor and her daughter Veronica L. Tomor. Having lost her parents at a very young age, and the youngest of six children she was raised by her brothers and sisters who described her as an adventurous, charismatic, energetic and a feisty little sister.

Laura had a young spirit even at (87) years of age wearing her jeans and heels until the very end. She was always happy, with a sense of humor amidst adversity, caring, loving, giving and forgiving. Always a hard worker, a fighter, a survivor, and resilient woman who knew no limits and for which the word no was never a reason to surrender and give up. She always found a way to make things happen. She had a zest for life and nature, adored plants, vegetation, and animals particularly dogs. It was her passion to see things grow and flourish. She loved all things created by God whom she praised daily multiple times a day every day of her life and the Virgin Mary who she regarded as her mother and had a unique and very close relationship with until the very end.

She gave it all to her kids Mark and Veronica while sacrificing so much of herself, prioritizing the needs of others and making her needs last.  She was always merciful to the less fortunate and had incredible compassion for those in need. Her (5) grandkids Christopher, Nicholas, Noel: (CNN) and Michael and Laura always played a huge part in her life and she had a particular bond with CNN having lived in the house with them for the past six years. They will always have her in their hearts since she loved unconditionally till the very end.

We know she is with the Lord enjoying the privilege of eternal life and she will walk with us as our angel every day watching over us with her loving grace.
