Lazaro R. Diaz age 92 of Pembroke Pines, Florida, passed away at his residence in the presence of his family on November 16, 2022. He was born in Havana, Cuba on February 11, 1930 to the late Ramon Diaz Rodriguez and Julia Villanueva.

He was also preceded in death by his brothers: Julian Octavio Diaz and Roberto Diaz and recently his sister, Elena Diaz.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Leonila A. Diaz; son, Lazaro Diaz, Jr. and his wife, Anita; daughter, Alina Diaz; grandson, Brad M. Diaz; granddaughter, Amanda Altavilla and her husband, Ray and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, 15801 NW 67th Avenue, Miami Lakes, Florida 33014.
