Madeline Lorusso Rodgers, age 100, 0f Hollywood, Florida, formerly of Sandwich, Massachusetts, passed away on November 10, 2019.

Madeline was born in Anzano di Puglia, Italy as Maddalena Lorusso on April 11, 1919.

While living in Italy, Madeline was schooled as a seamstress.  She immigrated to Norwood, Massachusetts at the age of 15. She took English classes in the evenings and worked as a seamstress during the day. While working across the street from each other, Madeline met Robert Peck and they married on May 29, 1942. They were married for 24 years and had four children together.

On June 1, 1973 Madeline and Earl Rodgers were married and began a life together of travel and dance.

Madeline became a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in 1970.

She was devoted to her entire family.  One of her missions was to keep in touch with family members who live in Italy, Holland, Switzerland, Canada and Australia and the USA.  She and Earl traveled to see many of them.

Madeline was thought of as a second mother to Skip Gunn, Nancy Jo Coules and Ronnie George.

She entertained everyone with delightful stories of her childhood.

As an excellent cook, she taught her family the traditions of Italian food and culture.

She is predeceased by her husband, Earl Rodgers and her grandson, David Peck Jr.

She is survived by her children, Frederick Peck and his partner Ray Collins of Fort Lauderdale, Florida,

David and Debbie Peck of Belleview, Florida,

Carol and Donald Boudreau of Southwest Ranches, Florida,

Nancy Peck Brady of Atlanta, Georgia,

Step-Daughter, Karen Jusseaume and her husband Raymond of Ellenton, Florida

Her granddaughter, Jacquelyn Peck of Holliston, Massachusetts,

Great Grandchildren, Jaime, Leah, Analisa, Sara, Nicole and Joshua Peck,

Her great great granddaughter, Delilah Joy Lucero,

And her granddaughter-in-law, Bruna Postal Peck of Campinas, Brazil

Madeline is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children, with whom she and Earl spent many wonderful hours.

Madeline was passionate, smart, strong, affectionate and very feisty! She will be greatly missed.
