Manuel E. Pichardo, 81, a devoted husband, father and grandfather, of Pembroke Pines, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, July 26, 2016. He was born on February 13, 1935, in Moca, Dominican Republic, to parents Manuel Pichardo and Gilda Fernandez. A proud US Army veteran and entrepreneur. Survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Susan Pichardo; sons, David (Alexandra) Pichardo and Mark Pichardo; daughter, Nancy (Jared) Bretsch; and 4 grandchildren. Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, 10:30 a.m. at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel. Urn Committal Service with Military Honors will follow at South Florida National Cemetery.
