Maria Regla Cabrera, 90, of Hollywood, Florida, passed away on December 7th, 2022. She was born on October 29th , 1932, in Havana, Cuba to the late Eugenio Pitaluga and Luisa Mari.

Our beautiful Lala passed peacefully surrounded by our large, loving family. The matriarch of our family was so proud to always be around her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lala was a fierce Scorpio woman who loved collecting salt & pepper shakers, elephants and playing the lotto and scratch offs morning, noon, and night. The tenacity of our Lala kept her so strong, even until her last breath. Our world will keep spinning and the sun will keep shining but without Lala, it will be slightly slower and just a little more dim. We love you forever.”

She is preceded in death by her husband  of over 40 years, Alberto Cabrera. Maria is survived by her children; Evelia Madera, Alina Salamanca, Ricardo Cabrera and Eugenio Cabrera; grandchildren, Edward, Christina & Lauren Madera , Eugenio Jr.  & Angelina Cabrera, Michael & Jason Salamanca and  Gian Paul & Stephen Ramirez; and great-grandchildren; Edward,  Jonathan, Logan, Jasmyn, Serenti, Kyel, Zaira, Ryan, Eli  and Ethan.

A Funeral Mass is scheduled on December 14th, 2022 at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church located at 701 N. Hiatus Road, Pembroke Pines, FL.
