Battle, Marion R., 85, of Hollywood, FL, and formerly of Connellsville, PA, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2010. She is survived by her husband Nicholas Battle of Hollywood; brother William Mary Ann Staines, of East Berlin, PA; nieces Carla Michael Cooper of Hollywood, Mary Lee Jerry Younkin of Connellsville; Erika Shedlock of West Newton; nephew Ernest Madonna Shedlock of West Newton, David Olivia Staines of Pittsburgh, Mark Shedlock of Everson and Shaun Shedlock; Godson Michael Cooper, Jr, of Hollywood; sister-in-law Jeanette Porter of Scottdale; brother-in-law Francis Battle of Toronto, Canada; and numerous other relatives. Visitation will be Thursday 7:00 – 9:00 PM at the Fink Funeral Home, 418 N. Pittsburgh Street, Connellsville, PA, 15425. Prayer blessings will be Friday morning at the funeral home followed by interment at Greenridge Cemetery.
