I don’t think anyone but those who knew her understand how truly special this human being was. The light of the room, and the smile in our hearts. She took care of me as a child, and she never forgot me, she always considered me like one of her own grandkids.
I’ll miss you Aunt Marjie. When I see you again, have some apple juice waiting for me and we’ll catch up. ❤️🙏🏽

She was my friend and #Othermother. . . I was welcomed into her home at the age of 7; Joan was teaching me how to ride her English Racer that Saturday afternoon. She prepared fried chicken wings for dinner. I’ve loved them ever since.
The Diggs family has always been a part of my family. She was one of my grandmother Hazel’s ‘daughters’. We all love her very much and will miss her.
I am sending my love & prayers to ‘my sister’, Joan, who like her mom has always been so good to me & my family.

I am sending love & prayers to all of Mother Diggs’ family & friends. May God grant us all peace & understanding in this loss of such an amazing, loving, beautiful lady who had a fantastic sense of humor! I will miss you every day.

I am so grateful to have known Aunt Margie, she was a very close friend of my mother Edith Wilson and she was apart of my entire life from early childhood to adulthood. She was kind and loving, caring and so supportive of me growing up. She was interested in my life and my family. She stayed connected to me in spite of the distance between us in where we lived. She called me many times and comforted me after my mother and father passed away and checked in on me. What a blessing to have had her in my life, I pray she is resting in peace, She will live on in spirit with everyone she touched in her lifetime here on earth. She has made a lasting impression on all who knew her.
My deepest sympathy to her family she has departed from here on earth.

She will always be my Aunt Margie. I felt her love and guidance from a little girls sitting on her mom and dad’s back porch until she passed. I remember when she lived in Worcester, Mass and I drove my two daughters there to spend time with Aunt Margie. She was over 70 but that didn’t stop her from taking us to Harvard Square and showing all of us a beautiful time. I love my Aunt Margie so much, Joanie and Zane too and I just praise God for having her be such an influential person in my life. Rest Aunt Margie for now you are Home. I love you. Taryn.
