Mark was a devoted and loving husband to his wife Bonnie for 31 years and a dedicated father to his son Nicholas. Mark always knew how to make us laugh. In any situation, he would find a way to put a smile on your face, even up until the very end. His quick-witted humor and infectious smile will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He always had encouraging words to say to everyone he met. He had a passion for cooking, and at gatherings he made sure everyone had more than enough and then some. He had a passion for studying the Bible and a passion for the life that God gave him.
There was nothing he couldn’t do, he always found a way to make it work and there was nothing he wouldn’t do for you.
Mark was more than just an awesome father and husband, he was a great person who always went out of his way to help others. Whether it was his neighbors, his son or his wife, he was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Mark was always there for his family. When his son was younger, he would help him with schoolwork and take him to all the fishing tournaments even if it meant getting up hours before first light and then being his “net man” until after the tournament was over. His son would never be the man he is today without the guidance and upbringing of his father.
Mark will always be remembered in our hearts and forever missed.
Words cannot describe just how much he will be missed by all who knew him. May it bring some comfort that one day, behind the Pearly Gates, we will be re-united once more.
