Mary Louise Reed graced this earth from July 31st 1936 to September 17th 2022. Her passion for serving her community fuelled her vivacious and colorful life. She is survived by her five children Donna, Thomas Jr., Timothy, Christopher, and Paul, and preceded in death by her husband Thomas Charles Reed. She raised her five children in Hialeah, Florida where she also served her community in a myriad of ways. She worked for years as a poll worker for local elections. A caring steward for those less fortunate than herself, Mary Lou volunteered at her local library teaching English-language-learners to read, speak and write. She also volunteered with the American Cancer Society transporting patients to and from their treatment appointments. Her talents also shined through dog showing and watercolor painting. Mary Lou insisted on monthly support of Public Radio & TV as well as the local Humane Society. Donations to these causes can be made in her name. Her legacy lives on through her 6 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
