Matthew William Boyd, beloved son, brother, uncle and friend passed away peacefully on March 6, 2022. He was 60.

Matthew was born in Utica, New York to William and Mary Boyd. He grew up in South Florida where he graduated from Broward College. After college he worked in management in the restaurant industry.

He loved the outdoors, especially spending time on the beach metal detecting. He had many hobbies including coin collecting as well as working out at the gym.

He loved his cat of many years whom he rescued from the Humane Society.

Matthew was preceded in death by his mother Mary, father William and sister Kathryn.

He is survived by his sisters Linda (Vincent), Susan (Dave) and Patricia, stepmother Anna, nieces and nephews, Derek, Heather, Joseph, Christopher, Brandi, Brittany and Bridgette, Aunt Fiora, and many more aunts, uncles, grandnieces and nephews, cousins and his wonderful friends at Hillcrest.

There will be a private Memorial Service held for Matthew to celebrate his life.
