Maude Dolce (74), was born on January 15, 1945 in Dondon, Haiti and passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in Hollywood, Florida on December 4, 2019.
In 1974 Maude moved from Haiti to Nassau, Bahamas and then in 1980 moved to Miami, Florida where she worked as a housekeeper where she saved up enough money to open up her own business selling formal attire. In addition to retail sales, she was known as an extraordinary cook who could prepare a meal in minutes that always left everyone wanting more. Due to the high demand for her delicious cooking, Maude began selling her food; however, money did not stop anyone from eating as she gave generously to those who did not have the money to buy it. She was generous, kind and had a loving heart that she shared with everyone she came in contact with. She was also a strong woman who loved her family.
Maude is survived by her children Alex Dolce, Ange Helene Dolce, Hugh Gabriel (Magalie Gabriel Calixte), Paul Emmanuel Gabriel (Venise Gabriel), Anne Marie Dolce (Jean Wisly Fontus), Job Dolce; her brother Gerard Corneille (Marie May Corneille) and sister Anne Mona Corneille. In addition to 12 grandchildren Luis Andrado, Luis Anderson, Luis Andracy, Shirley, Imani, Ethan, Teyon, Olivia, Isabella, Emmie, Tyler, and Jaylen and numerous loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Public Visitation will take place on Friday, December 13th, 2019 from 10:00 – 11:30 am followed by a “Tributes of a Lifetime” from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm, and then a Repast from 3:00 – 5:00 pm. All taking place at the Boyd-Panciera Hollywood Chapel located at 6400 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood, Florida 33024.

Always was a beautiful person with my mom and us Auntie. Briefly before you moved to Broward you wanted to help take a load off being a single mother on the go and cooked my meals for the week while doing the same for Ann Marie. Thank you always!
When I last sat with you you were tired and wanted to go home as just like mom always so independent and loved to go, so being immobile wasn't ideal. No more pain love, Enjoy Eternity with Our Father God and your homegirl my mom. See you later!

Ms. Maude, I never got a chance to truly thank you for all the wonderful meals, advice and prayers you sent and gave to me (us) during my (our) early transition into adulthood and through the present day. Your strength and determination to succeed at all cost is a lesson that I will never forget. You are so loved. Rest in peace 😌
Forever in our hearts,
