Melba Irias Paz was born in Tela, Honduras on 26 April I948. As a child she moved to San Pedro Sula where she completed her studies as a secretary. As such she worked in the legal and insurance industry. She moved to the USA for several years during which time she got married, had a child, Tania, and was divorced. She returned to Honduras and there married David Milne from Scotland. She had two more daughters, Jula and Claudia. She moved back to the USA, then to the Dominican Republic and Chile before settling in Pembroke Pines Florida in 2004.
Melba was known for her warm, exuberant and vivacious personality. She loved cooking, music and dancing. She was capable of making friends wherever she went. She showered her relatives with love, close and far. Although struck with dementia at a young age, she always retained her sparkle and charm.
