Mercedes Diaz, age 90, of Miami, Florida, passed away January 18, 2024. She was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on October 4, 1933.

She is survived by her children: Maximo Roques Diaz and his wife, Sarah and Margarita Portuondo and her husband, Alberto; grandchildren: Lee Pimentel, Maximo Roques, Jr. and Jessica Roques; several great-grandchildren and their families.

Graveside Services to be held on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 12:00 PM at City of Hallandale Beach Cemetery, 801 NW 6th Avenue, Hallandale Beach, Florida 33009.
