Michael Joseph Riso,age 57,of Miramar,Florida passed away on June 16,2021. Born and raised in Mount Vernon,N.Y. Son of Pascal Riso and Patricia Ausderan.
Michael is preceded in death by his mother Patricia Ausderan,stepfather Jack Ausderan, grandparents Anthony and Sophia LaVerde,Ralph and Connie Riso,and aunt Josephine.
Michael is survived by his loving wife(Evelyn),siblings (Judy,Kurt,Greg,Debbie,,Donna,
Steven) His father (Pascal),stepfather (Jim Northrup);Aunt and Uncles: Sandy and Richard, Ronnie and Debra,Caroline and John,his adorable cat (Tiger), as well as many beloved cousins. Michael was born in Mount Vernon,N.Y. where he attended Mount Vernon H.S. and later attended NY School of of Printing. In 1989 while vacationing in Puerto Rico,he met Evelyn who is also from NY and were later married the following year. That same year,in 1990, they moved to Florida and were married for 31 years. He worked as a digital pre-press operator for Florida Offset/USA Today.
Since he always worked 3rd shift,he was a huge fan of Art Bell Coast to Coast late night radio talk show whose topics were related to the paranormal or conspiracy theories. Besides listening to AM radio ,Mike loved to read,write,work on his computer and discuss politics. He was very opinionated and occasionally found himself bumping heads with people on Facebook. He also had a sharp memory. All who knew him would agree that Mike had amazing recollection. He could remember peoples names ,dates,events as far back as 45 years
Mike enjoyed deer hunting,fishing and loved sports. In his earlier years he played little league baseball and was a superb left- handed pitcher who was featured in local newspaper.He loved to travel as long as a casino was waiting for him when he landed. Bahamas,P.R. and Las Vegas were his favorite destinations because Mike loved to gamble and play slot machines as well as the lottery and was pretty lucky at it.
He also enjoyed listening to country music and his favorite artist being Alan Jackson. He had attended at least a dozen of his concerts and travelled to Atlantic City and Las Vegas,of course,to watch him perform.
Michael touched many lives and left a lasting impression on his closest friends. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
A Public Visitation will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021 from 11:00 PM – 2:00 PM with a Prayer Service starting at 1:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 6400 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, Florida 33024. Entombment will immediately follow at Lauderdale Memorial Park, 2001 SW 4th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33315.

Gonna miss you cuz! Found you in 2016 for the Riso Reunion and we clicked like cousins do ever since.
I have no doubt you are in loving company in Heaven with your many Italian friends and Riso relatives!

I loved you from the moment I saw you and will continue until my time comes.
