Dorn, Michael John, 73, of Dania Beach, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2019. A South Florida resident for over 45 years, Michael was a War Baby born in Swindon, England to parents Peter M. Dorn and Barbara J. Woodin.  He proudly served his country as a U.S. Air Force Veteran and loved hunting boar and alligators, air boats and hot rods, all while enjoying his 30+ years as a Carpenter Foreman for the Broward County School Board.

Michael is survived by his loving wife Diane and four loving daughters, Edy Scott, Erica Dorn, Mary Dorn, Jennifer Burges and her husband Dougie; his brother, Pete Dorn; niece, Tracey Wasylik-Callender and her wife Megan; nephew, Steve Wasylik; his 3 grandchildren, Michael Maige, Madison Duncan and Megan Dorn; and his babies Rose and Jake.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, August 17th, from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Boyd-Panciera University Drive Chapel located at 1600 University Drive, Pembroke Pines, FL 33024. Tributes of a Lifetime Service will begin at 5:00 pm, followed by a Reception until 7:00 pm. Inurnment Services will be held on Friday, October 18th, 2019, 2:00 PM at South Florida National Cemetery located at 6501 S. State Road 7, Lake Worth, FL 33449 (Lane 3).In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Gods Helping Hands (Wildlife Rescue Rehab) in care of St. Charles Veterinary Hospital located at 2360 North Boulevard West, Davenport, FL 33837.
