Pedro Soto Colon, a Korean War Veteran, passed away on June 26, 2021 the day the Angels sang. He was born in Puerto Rico on September 30, 1927.
Pedro was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle. Pedro Soto is survived by his wife, Silvia Colon; children, Lucy Jerez, Osvaldo Soto, Maritza Colon, Brenda Colon and Lizette Colon. He is also survived by his nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His family knew him as a respected, thoughtful, loving, caring loving funny singing strong & honorable man.
Pedro was a proud military Korean war veteran… Pedro was one of “The Borinqueneers” from the 65th Infantry Regiment The US Army’s only All -Hispanic Unit.
He showed his family how to always stand firm to always move forward to not ever give up and to look ahead with grace. He lived a long life and has brought so much joy, wisdom to his wife and family, he is truly loved and will be deeply missed. We will meet again until then know that we will carry you in our hearts and soul forever.
A Public Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2021 from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM and a Prayer Service at 3:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 6400 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, Florida 33024.
